Sleigh Rides in Whistler

dashing through the snow,

in a one horse open sleigh.

over fields we go

laughing all the way

Gently gliding across the snow through the tree lined mountain trail, your two horses for the night sure footedly navigate the snowy terrain. Your guide details the local area and the individual quirks of her horses while you soak in the mountains scenary. When your finished you give your horses a thank you pat, and are whisked off for a delicious fondue dinner. If cheese is your thing, then we suggest eating a light lunch because you wont want to stop once you dig into the amazing dinner before you.

With 19yrs experience running Sleigh Ride tours on Blackcomb Mountain, David and Suzanne from Blackcomb Sleigh operate a very professional, locally run company. The horses are gentle giants who are strong and friendly and they enjoy having their picture taken or just getting a pat. They always wear show harness with jingle bells for everyone to hear as they travel up the trail.

Operating tours both on the Mountain at the Nicklaus North, there are plenty of tours to choose from to suit your plans. To find more information about tours offered check out: http://blackcombsleighrides.com/

1- Remember to dress warm when going sleigh riding, its often at night and you are sitting still so rug up! Gloves and a hat are a definite must particularly for the littler sleigh passengers.

2- Be sure to meet your friendly sleigh horses, they always love to pose for photos and get a pat after your ride.

3- Book plenty in advance, particularly around busy times as Blackcomb Sleigh rides books up fast.
