Whistler Cat Skiing
Just south of Whistler
Village is a special place called Powder Mountain.
When it snows in Whistler, it snows even harder at Powder Mountain
with often double to triple the amount of snow falling.
Cat skiing is a great way to experience backcountry powder skiing and snowboarding. Heated snow cats (the machines used to groom the slopes) take you to the untracked powder runs.
The snowcats will take 12 guests, 2 guides and a photographer.
Check out this video from Powder Mountain Cat Skiing - filmed in 2010 but you'll get the idea of how fabulous cat skiing can be!
