Whistler Bungee Jumping
Experience the ultimate adrenaline rush at Whistler Bungee. You can do this extreme activity all year round and in all weather conditions. Whistler Bungee is located a 15 minute drive south of Whistler. The jump is 160ft (50 meters) over the glacial fed Cheakamus River.
Bungee jumping in Whistler offers a unique and beautiful setting and is regarded as one of the most scenic bungee jumping sites in the world. You will enjoy magnificent mountain and river views.
Whistler Bungee opened in 2002 and has a perfect safety record. There have been over 100,000 jumps since opening date.
Transportation is available from the Whistler Bungee office located on the on the Village Stroll. There will be an additional cost for any spectators requiring transportation to the site and back.
Your bungee jump will be captured by professional photographers from Coast Mountain Photography.
Bungee jumping can be experienced by everyone. No experience is required, just a great sense of adventure and an appetite for thrill seeking! At Whistler Bungee you can jump solo, tandem or in a wheelchair. There is no age limit for bungee jumping but if you are under 19 you will need consent from a parent or guardian.
Here are the different types of jumps available.
Chest & Waist
Jumping with both a chest and waist harness provides both superior comfort and safety. There are different cords available to either give a faster, higher rebound or a softer slower rebound. The chest and waist harness will keep you in an upright position throughout the rebounds.
Ankle Harness
Using an ankle harness is the traditional way to bungee jump. This gives you the ultimate adrenaline rush. There is also a waist harness that works as a secondary safety harness and allows you to be upright while you are being retrieved.
Tandem
Whistler Bungee can arrange a tandem jump for those too scared to jump on their own! This is also a great way for a couple to experience a jump together.
