Tough Mudder Whistler 2012

Looking to push your body to the limit or how about just come out and watch as 1000's of people dress up in crazy costumes and push their bodies to the absolute limit. Well then welcome to Tough Mudder. Come watch as over 10,000 people ascend on Whistler this weekend for one of the most popular events of the summer.

What are we talking about?

The Tough Mudder is a 12KM obstacle course designed by British Special Forces intended to test endurance, will and mental strength. Competitors are encouraged to participate with their friends in teams or by themselves. One of the more interesting aspects of the run is the costumes most runners will be sporting. All competitors are asked to dress up in over the top attire with prizes going to the runner with the most bad-ass costume, most dumb-ass costume and most ass costume (least amount of clothing).

The race is a mixture between a fun time and a full on competitive marathon. With the chance for free head shaves for Mohawk's and Tough Mudder tattoos available for those hard-core racers at the end. The race is meant to be both fun and competitive.
