The Adara, Whistler's funkiest boutique hotel, today announced they will be offering guided tours & lessons this season in the Whistler Bike Park with their very own in house personal internationally qualified guide. This is great news for the guests of the Adara as it moves towards being the most unique & friendly hotel in the Sea to Sky district.

We have now implemented a mountain bike program within the hotel which gives guests the chance to have a taste of Downhill Mountain biking with one of our very own staff. We are fortunate to have Tim Windshuttle, a highly experienced & qualified Australian MTB instructor working on our Guest Services team. He has gained years of experience working in the industry on different projects from school bike camps & programs through to coaching National Junior riders and has also competed at National and International levels with some notable results including 2011 Australian Expert Men DH National Champion.
As the bike park is often an intimidating place to beginners it will now give them the chance to experience the thrill & excitement of the park on the easier trails while staying in a safe and friendly environment.

As this style of riding has grown in popularity so has the need to provide instruction to the thousands of people who are experimenting with or entering the sport. If you're unsure whether your ability will be suited to this style of riding, don't be afraid. The Whistler bike park has something to cater for all abilities & we can adapt the aim of the lesson & tour to ensure you get the most out of your day in the bike park. The beginners will have a blast on the wide but gentle, banked cruisers through the lush forest. The tight and twisty single track on the blue trails is perfect for intermediate riders looking to get that little extra thrill and for the armored up, full face wearing, 20kg bike group there are steep rock faces, crucial rock gardens, slippery root strewn lines, drop offs of all descriptions and more.

Once off the trails & back at the hotel the guests will also be given the option to have our staff service & clean your bikes in time for your next day in the park. We also welcome you to hang around and learn a thing or two on the tools from our mechanic.
