Splitz Grill
Splitz has long been known as the best place to grab a burger and fries in Whistler. This locally owned and started restaurant chain was originally run out what seemed like a whole in the wall. But once Whistlerites began lining up around the block for these delicious burgers they finally expanded into a space big enough for the demand. 'THE' place in whistler to grab a burger a Splitz Burger and Fries will set you back about $12 after tax well worth it for the taste, size and price.
BEAVERTAILS®
BEAVERTAILS® can be found in two locations in Whistler; one is located on Whistler Mountain and the other is located right in the heart of the village near Lululemon and Showcase. If you've never had a BEAVERTAIL® pastry and are wondering what I'm talking about imagine a huge donut shaped beaver tail doused in brown sugar and topped with your choice of fresh fruits, chocolate, icing and tons of other flavors. Their BEAVERTAIL® Apple Cinnamon pastry is one of their calling cards and costs under $10. Don't leave Whistler without trying one of these amazing creations they are literally life changing.
Dups Burritos
This small hole in the wall restaurant is 'THE' place to get Mexican in Whistler. Everything on their menu is fresh, huge and tasty. Located just across the street from Splitz Grill it's a toss-up between your taste buds. It's hard to say they have one special dish because everything on the menu is amazing but if you want the best bang for your buck grab a burrito. They come in all types of flavors including vegetarian and are served up right in front of you Subway style. For only $10 a burrito will fill you up and then some.
Samurai Sushi
This take out sushi restaurant is located in Whistler's Nester's Market. What's great about this restaurant is that it's good, it's cheap and it's fast. For only $9 you can grab yourself bento box to go or sit down and eat it there. Now it's not the overall best sushi in Whistler that title belongs to Sachi Sushi or Sushi Village but for the price it can't be beat. If you're craving some reasonably priced Japanese head on over to Samurai Sushi in Whistler's Nester's Market.
