Jazz on the Mountain at Whistler

This is Whistler's newest festival and it is going to be one of the highlights of the summer. The Jazz on the Mountain Festival will take place over the Labour Day long weekend from September 2nd to September 4th.
Jazz on the Mountain Day 1 Schedule
The festival will feature top International and Canadian artists such as Kevin Eubanks, Stanley Jordan, The New Gary Burton Quartet, Oliver Jones Trio, Spyro Gyra and The Rippingtons. These Jazz greats will be playing in the outdoor Whistler Olympic Plaza and Millennium Place and are ticketed events.
Jazz on the Mountain Day 2 Schedule
Tickets are available as a 3 day pass or single day passes and will provide access to the Whistler Olympic Plaza venue from noon until night. The Whistler Olympic plaza will be a spectacular venue for the festival. It was the site audiences from around the World gathered to see the best athletes in the world step up to the podium at Victory Ceremonies during the 2010 Winter Games. It is now a permanent multi-functional community space with a state-of-the-art pavilion and can hold up to 5000 people.
Jazz on the Mountain Day 3 Schedule
There will be a number of free outdoor and indoor concerts throughout Whistler Village provided by well-known and up-and-coming Canadian jazz performers and acoustic musicians.
This will be a great family weekend in Whistler! There will also be a Street Festival with children's entertainment and family fun including acoustic musicians, face-painters, jugglers and acrobats.
