Canadian National BBQ Championships

Looking for something to do next weekend?  Come up to Whistler for the Canadian National BBQ Championships at Dusty's Bar & BBQ Whistler Creekside from July 29-31, 2011.

This annual event features local legends to world champions.  The BBQ Champs pits the best of the best against each other in heated BBQ competitions all weekend long.  Come on down to Dusty's in Creekside and see the pros in action and sample some of the best BBQ food you will ever eat.

Friday is Whole Hog BBQ Demo

The event starts on Friday afternoon with BBQ Demonstrations, BBQ Judging Class (where you can learn to be a certified BBQ judge!) and a whole hog BBQ demonstration.  There will be live entertainment later with Whole Lotta Led.

Saturday is Local's BBQ day. 

This is your chance to win over $2000 in cash and prizes! The event starts at 1pm and finishes at 5pm. Saturday night is the Whole Hog Feed with live entertainment by The Matinee.Learn more about Day 2 BBQ Championship activities.

Sunday is the Canadian BBQ Championships.  

Cooks from all over North America will be competing for the honour of "Canadian Champion" with $5,000 in cash and prizes, and an invitation to the World Championships in Lynchburg.  Evening entertainment will be with Daniel Wesley. Learn more about Day 3 BBQ Championship activities.
