The Whistler Summer Concert Series is a
series of FREE concerts throughout the summer brought to you by the
Village of Whistler.
Life has been anything but ordinary for Sudan born Hip Hop artist Emmanuel Jal.
Born at a time when his country was entrenched in civil war Jal fell under the influence of one of the local militia's and became a war-child. Taking inspiration from the struggles of his personal life and love of Hip Hop Jal has been able to defy all odds and escape the tragedy's of his past life.
Now a activist for the treatment and use of children in the Africa's bloody civil wars, Jal is able to spread his message through music and by example.
Join us this Sunday night at 8:30PM as Jal takes the stage to close out the Whistler Summer Concert Series.
