The last weekend of the 2012
Crankworx mountain bike festival, sees two of the most
anticipated events of the festival. Today is the Red Bull
Joyride event. Last year Whistler local Brandon Semenuk was
crowned Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour Champion 2011.
Red Bull Joyride
The Red Bull Joyride event fuses elements of slopestyle, dirt jump and North Shore mountain biking. Previous riders will be giving their input into this year's course design. The course incorporates as much of the natural terrain as possible. The Freeride Mountain Bike Association recognizes the slope style event at Crankworx as a Diamond Stop, one of only two worldwide.
