Visit Whistler this year for the
17th annual Telus World Ski and Snowboard
Festival. This is an amazing 10 days and a great way
to celebrate the end of the winter ski season. The festival
has been dubbed as the "The biggest annual gathering of winter
sports, music, arts and culture in North America". This is a
great time to enjoy some spring skiing and snowboarding.
The Slopestyle snowboard competition will be taking place in Blackcomb's terrain park from 10am to 3pm today.
Half Moon Run and Tea Leaf Green will be on the main stage in the Skiers Plaza for the afternoon free concert series.
Pecha Kucha is a unique form of public speaking and entertainment that will take place tonight at Maxx Fish from 8pm to 11pm. Tickets are $10 and include one drink ticket and a seat at the most stimulating event of the year.
If you missed the afternoon concert, there will be a bonus show with Half Moon Run and Tea Leaf Green playing at 9pm at the Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC). This is a free concert.
