Day 2 of the Telus World Ski and
Snowboard Festival. This epic festival features 10
days of ski and snowboard competitions, free music concerts, art
festival, multimedia showcase, fashion show, filmmaking
competition, dance competition and incredible après and night-time
parties.
Highlights of today include Mascot Mayhem. Meet Big Air Bear and other festival mascots in the Village Square at 1pm.
The Hairfarmers will be kicking off apres at Dustys Bar and Grill at 3.30pm.
Tonight is one of the highlights of the festival, with the world's best snowboarders competing on a huge hip jump in the Big Hip event. The warm up starts at 6.30pm with the Big Hip finals from 8.45pm to 9.30pm at the base of Whistler Mountain.
Swollen Members will be entertaining the crowds on the main stage at 6pm followed by Trouble Andrew at 9.45pm after the Big Hip finals.
