Whistler Crankworx Day 1 - Fat Tire Crit
Date: Friday, July 15, 2011
Time: 6 p.m.
Where: Whistler Village
Whistler Village will see the return of classic Fat Tire Crit racing for the first time in over a decade - but this time only for the fat tire crowd.
This "Open Pro" event for men and women will have an edge of
Nascar drafting, bumping and grinding, setting the tone for the
upcoming week of high-speed action at Kokanee Crankworx. It's an
amazing spectator friendly race event set on an 800-meter loop
around Whistler Olympic Plaza with the riders constantly passing by
the crowd and jockeying for position for the final sprint to the

the "Miss & Out" format will see those trailing the field
pulled off the course.
