Viessmann Luge World Cup Whistler Day 2

If you are in Whistler for this weekend, visit the
Whistler Sliding Centre to watch the World's best athletes compete
in the FIL Luge World Cup. Luge consists of three
disciplines which are men's singles, women's singles, and doubles.
In the World Cup there are two heats held in each
event.
The Whistler Sliding Centre hosted the Bobsleigh, Luge and Skeleton competitions for the 2010 Olympic Games. This venue is now a legacy which you can enjoy and experience such events as the FIL Luge World Cup. You can access the Whistler Sliding Centre by Whistler Transit - taking the Staff Housing route (#77) and then a short walk to the venue. You can also access the centre by taking the Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola from the Village to Blackcomb Base II and then a short walk to the venue.
