What's better than being home for the holidays? Being here - in Whistler!
Whistler is one of the most magical places to visit during the Christmas season. The Village Stroll is dotted with lights, the mountain is covered in white, and there are all kinds of festive activities and celebrations to enjoy. These are some of this year's most anticipated holiday events:
The Whistler Holiday Experience
When? December 20 - January 5 (Closed December 25 & 31) @ 10 am - 6 pm
Where? Whistler Conference Centre (steps from the hotel)
What? A free indoor family fun zone with mini putt, table and video games, bouncy castles, and crafts for kids to enjoy while parents relax in the lounge area with coffee and hot chocolate.
Bonfire Nights at Whistler Olympic Park
When? Every Wednesday @ 5 pm
Where? Whistler Olympic Park
What? Explore the Whistler Olympic Park where the biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and ski jumping events took place during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The blazing outdoor fire below the Olympic Rings will keep you warm while you're there. Parking is $10 per vehicle.
Skating with Santa
When? December 22 @ 1 pm - 4 pm
Where? Whistler Olympic Plaza
What? Join Santa at the ice rink for photos, holiday crafts, and hot chocolate! If you forgot to pack your skates, rentals are available for just $5.00.
Christmas Eve Carol Service
When? December 24 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Where? Westin Resort and Spa
What? The 30th annual Christmas Eve Carol Service, hosted by the Whistler's Children's Chorus, is an interdenominational celebration featuring traditional carols, choral music, and readings. Entry is by donation and all proceeds will go towards continuing this community service in the future.
Interdenominational Christmas Morning 'Go Give It On The Mountain' Service

What? Celebrate the Christmas holiday at the top of the world with St. John's Anglican and the Whistler Interfaith Society in support of the Jill Ackhurst Social Action Fund. William Roberts is the Priest-in-Charge.
Fire and Ice Show
When? Every Sunday @ 6:30 pm
Where? Skier's Plaza in the Whistler Village
What? Prepare to be entertained by top members of Whistler Blackcomb's Ski & Snowboard School as they flip and spin through a burning ring of fire. Stay until the end and you'll get to see a first class fireworks display that will take your breath away.
