While skiing may be the main draw card for many visitors to Whistler, there are many other ways to explore Whistler and the surrounding mountains. With tours catered for everyone from complete beginners and families, to sled-necks, Snowmobiling is a fantastic way to get out of the resort and explore what our beautiful valley has to offer! The following companies offer snowmobiling in the Whistler area and more information about their tours can be found by following the links below:

Top tips for Snowmobiling:

1- Dress warm!
Traveling at up to 40km/hr in winter can get quite cold once you factor in the windchill, so ensure you dress warm with gloves and good boots

2- Bring a camera
While taking selfies and driving is never advised, guides are typically very accommodating when it comes to taking photos for you, and you’ll be kicking yourself when you ride up to a picturesque mountain view and haven’t got your camera

3- Listen to your guide
If you have never ridden a snowmobile before, never fear! The guides are very professional and have a ton of experience taking people riding just like you. So relax, have fun, and most importantly listen to your guide!

4- Ride within your limits
Every company in town offer different tours catering to everyone’s needs but the best way to ensure you have an amazing experience out there is to pick a tour that suits your ability and experience level. The Adventure Group offer great family friendly and beginner tours, while Canadian offer thrillseekers a tour catered towards experienced sledders.

As always, our friendly Front Desk agents are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about snowmobiling or any activity and can make a reservation for you.
